It’s taken a lot of good people, dedication and hard work to get our city’s neighborhoods back on their feet in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The Rockaways were one of the hardest hit. We’ve seen the devastation firsthand volunteering there with the clean-up effort. Still much to be done.
