Calling All #BlueShirts

Putting you right there in the rink, Kane Platt edited this climactic New York Rangers anthem rallying the #BlueShirts for the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Everyone in the industry knows colorist Lez Rudge to be among the best of the best. Lately, more and more clients are discovering that his talents translate well in the director’s chair, as seen in the latest anthem video for the New York Rangers via his new company Twelve. We were thrilled to contribute to it. Commissioned by Madison Square Garden, Rudge cinematically captured a host of Ranger players and fans rallying the #BlueShirts for the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. With an arsenal of beautiful footage and an exhilarating, custom-curated sound design kit by Pulse Music, Hooligan editor Kane Platt composed the climactic :30 anthem with the dramatic intensity and pacing of being right there in the rink. Although the Rangers fell short, #BlueShirt nation is standing strong. See you next year, Stanley Cup.
