Damien Oramas is a multidisciplinary visual artist. Campaigns for Match.com, Ford, and LLS bear his creative imprint as Motion Graphics Artist at Hooligan. From painting to illustration to graffiti, Damien has always excelled in the arts. His family noticed his artistic inclination early on, pushing him to pursue a creative career since he was a boy. His "dot com" uncle talked him out of architecture, leading him to the discovery of graphic design. He went on to graduate from St. John's University with a communication arts degree. Damien landed his first professional gig at Nice Shoes, clocking hard-earned hours in the vault before embarking on the next chapter of his career at Chemistry. Here, he met current Hooligans Sue Wladar and Peter Mostert, who he assisted for six years while learning the ropes of editing. As the duo created more and more together, Damien was called upon to create more and more graphics and design solutions for clients, solidifying his niche within the company. In his free time, Damien enjoys experimenting with Cinema 4d as well as blogging about abstract images and taking polaroids.
